RECEPTIONIST
(MIC/R/08/23)

The MIC invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position.

Required Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Cambridge Higher School Certificate; and
  • Certificate in Secretarial Studies or any relevant field acceptable by the MIC.
  • At least 3 years’ work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role and Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • To greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the MIC premises.
  • To direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • To answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • To ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
  • To provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • To receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • To organise and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements.
  • To liaise with stakeholders & schedule meetings (follow up by mail/phone).
  • To perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
  • To perform such related duties as may be assigned.

TERMS AND REMUNERATION

The position will be on the permanent and pensionable establishment of the MIC, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probationary period of one (1) year.

An attractive salary package will be offered to the right candidate(s).
