The Mauritius Investment Corporation Ltd (MIC) is inviting eligible firms with proven experience in field cleaning and maintenance to submit proposals for the cleaning and maintenance of its properties in the vicinity of Mon Desert Old Factory site.

The selected Firm, shall amongst others:

• Trim and prune overgrown bushes and trees and disposal of waste and any other materials that may be found on the properties, which represent a hazard.
• Maintain the properties in a good state by taking necessary measures to keep the properties including drains found on the properties clean and free from waste, undergrowth or noxious vegetation at all times.
• Trim and maintain edges, tree pockets, shrub beds, as well as the environment.
• Secure any gated or doored areas following completion of maintenance services to the properties.
• Maintain and make available for review all records that reasonably confirm frequency of tasks performed at each location.

In addition to general maintenance and cleaning duties, the contractor will also be required to:

• Assist in harvesting of vegetables and fruits from the designated areas
• Ensure that the harvested fruits (coconuts, mangoes, breadfruits and bananas) are handled with care to preserve their quality.
• Prepare the produce for sale by packaging and organizing for local market distribution.
• Quarterly reports on revenue from the sale of fruits and vegetables

5. Profiles of professionals to be undertaking the services (qualifications and accreditations, years of experience, etc.) and confirmation of the required experience, training, and clear background checks.

Mode of Application

Bids should be sent by email on tender@mic-ltd.mu, on or before 24 June 2025 at 17.00 hours (local time). Any submission received after the closing date and time shall be rejected.

Requests for site visits, clarification or any additional information should be addressed by email to the Chairperson of the Bid Evaluation Committee by email on tender@mic-ltd.mu, not later than 16 June 2025 at 17.00 hours (local time).

MIC reserves the right to accept or reject all offers submitted in response to this Request for Proposal, without incurring any liability towards any Applicant or any obligation to inform any Applicant of the grounds for its decisions. MIC also reserves the right to cancel this exercise.
