The MIC invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate should hold:

1. Cambridge Higher School Certificate with three (3) subjects at Principal Level at one and same sitting; and
2. A degree in Finance or Accounting or Economics or Investment from a recognised university or any relevant equivalent qualification with three (3) years’ proven post-qualification working experience; and

Holder of professional qualifications will have an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide assistance to the respective department.

• To develop and analyse economic, social, environmental, financial and other relevant information and/or data required for the attainment of the objectives of the organisation.
• To assist in the evaluation and reporting of the progress in the implementation programmes and objects of the organisation.
• To conduct analysis of applications for investment.
• Assist in appraising business plans, perform due diligence exercise and financial analysis.
• Collect economic and financial information of business, industry and market conditions for the purpose of investment decisions and identify new business opportunies,
• Perform such related duties as may be assigned.

COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

The successful candidate should have:

• good leadership and team management skills.
• significant problem solving and analytical skills.
• high level of discretion and confidentiality.
• good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
• ability to work under pressure.
