The Mauritius Investment Corporation Ltd (MIC) is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Bank of Mauritius. Its primary objectives are to support and accelerate the development of Mauritius and build a savings base for the citizens of Mauritius.

The MIC is hereby inviting a qualified and registered Structural Engineer having a minimum of 10 years of post registration experience to submit proposal to assess structural systems of a building, evaluating the integrity of construction and materials used to determine areas that need remediation and investigate structural failures of buildings, including all components and materials used.

The building is a seven-storey structure standing on a plot of land of around 4,100 square metres and has a gross external area of approximately 7,400 square metres.

The Structural Engineer shall have handled at least one Building Construction project with a value of at least MUR200 Million.

The Structural Engineer shall submit a structural survey and building report within one week from his appointment.

Mode of Application

Application should be deposited in a sealed envelope marked ‘SERVICES OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEER’’ at the Registered Office of the Mauritius Investment Corporation Ltd, Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis, at latest by Monday 11 October 2021 at 16:00 hours (local time). Applications received after the closing date and time shall be rejected.
